God’s own country in Crescent
Monday morning saw the land of palms and canals in Crescent.
The traditional ,colourful flower carpet welcomed the Crescentians.
The ceremonial lamp was lit by our Correspondent, thanking and invoking the Almighty’s blessings to continue giving us a bountiful harvest .
The belles of Crescent in Kerala’s traditional robes added colour, grace and charm with the well coordinated movement and dance (nadir-thirvathirakali &kaikottikali, Mohinniattam)
A quiz and a speech on the history and significance of ONAM was part of the celebration.
The highlight of the floral display was India’s successful Moon Mission- Southpole Landing of Chandrayaan 3 and Pragaanandha’s historic runner-up at the World Chess Champion Ship.
The beginning of the finale was coulourful, meaningful & successful.
