DIWALI AT CRESCENT – 2022
Diwali is a festival of sound and light.
A number of diyas are lit to dispel darkness in the form of all that is negative and to usher in a New Year of good health, wealth happiness, and all that is positive.
The crescentians before lighting the diyas had the name authentically and tastefully decorated on a competitive platform.
The students of classes 7 and below were in their Diwali finery sharing Diwali sweets, bringing in the spirit of Diwali.
The notice boards and classroom were dressed depicting the spirit of Diwali.
A special assembly was conducted at 11a.m
Students relived our culture by reminding us in Tamil, English and Hindi about what is practiced all over.
The girls and boys of classes 7, 9 and 11 entertained the school in their colorful costumes, through song, dance and skit.
The program came to an end by the school taking a pledge to some all including the environment during the future season.
We wish everyone a Happy Diwali.
