India’s 77th Independence day with Crescentians
The Crescentians welcomed the calm morning with the school prayer at the general assembly
The tri colour was hoisted and saluted by the whole school to mark the 77th Independence Day.
Speeches were delivered by the students in Tamil, Hindi and English, educating and reminding all, of the sacrifices made by many, for India’s Political Independence.
To add to the happiness of the day, a colourful dance was performed and the National Anthem was sung.
The morning session had the Juniors taking part in a Fancy Dress and Story Telling Competition.
The middle school was engaged in a Declamation Competition, while the Seniors had an Essay Writing Competition on Gandhian Principles.
